Longfellow provides a premier group program for weight loss and improved health. We are seeing phenomenal results! Participants lost a range of 10-25 pounds with decreased cholesterol, blood sugar and body fat. They increased muscle mass, expended their exercise routine and looked at their choices in a much more balanced, healthy and enjoyable way. In addition, they are experiencing more energy, better moods, and increased self-confidence.
The program includes:
- Two private nutrition appointments with a dietitian, along with cholesterol and blood sugar screenings.
- Two comprehensive fitness assessments with a fitness professional.
- 12-weekly group meetings, including an extensive session for nutrition education, along with specific reading and a process to help to create new ways of thinking and lasting habits.
The group meetings also includes a fabulous exercise class. Participants enjoy a variety of classes including synergy, Pilates, funky groove, small group training, yoga, spinning, water exercise and more.
