Group Exercise Wayland Schedule

Group Exercise at Wayland offers a dynamic mix of strength & conditioning, cycling, and high-energy classes—all included with membership. In our main building, you’ll find engaging workouts like Total Body, Sculpting, Cycle, Zumba, BollyX, and Funky Groove, designed to keep your routine fun, challenging, and motivating. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve endurance, or simply enjoy moving to music, there’s something for every fitness level.


We also offer a strong lineup of aquatic classes, including Hydropower, Master’s Swim, and low-impact cardio options that provide effective, joint-friendly training. For a more focused and mindful experience, our dedicated Lumina studio features mat-based classes such as yoga, barre, and Pilates, along with Pilates reformer training for a more personalized, equipment-based workout. Together, these offerings create a balanced and well-rounded program. With classes offered throughout the week and led by an experienced and energetic team, it’s easy to stay consistent and inspired. Occasional specialized workshops are also available for an additional fee

Meet the Group Exercise & Lumina Director: Jeanine Ruffing

Jeanine Ruffing has built a lifelong career in fitness, earning her degree in Exercise Science and beginning to teach group classes at just 17 years old. With over 35 years of experience and a background in dance and collegiate gymnastics, movement has always been a central part of her life and approach to training.


She has worked in both corporate wellness and fitness club settings, serving in leadership roles including Program Director and Client Services Director. Today, she leads both Group Exercise and Lumina at Wayland, where she creates engaging, well-rounded programming and supports a team of passionate instructors. Jeanine is dedicated to helping members reach their goals while fostering a strong, welcoming, and community-driven environment.
