Lisa’s love and passion for fitness came as she was rehabbing her torn ACL from a soccer injury in high school. Wanting to learn more, she attended the University of New Hampshire at Plymouth and received a bachelors degree in Exercise Science. She has been instructing fitness classes for over 25 years and is also a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Personal Trainer.
Lisa became part of the Longfellow team in 1999, teaching several group exercise classes. She graduated to Group Exercise Director 10 years ago. “The best part of this job is making connections with so many members and helping them achieve their fitness/ health goals.” The Group Exercise team consists of a team of enthusiastic instructors with many options for classes. On the schedule, you can find yoga, barre, Pilates, cycling, Zumba, and Muscle classes. “As the director, I am always looking for new classes to keep our program current and fun!”
In her leisure time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her three children and her husband. She loves the beach and spending time on Cape Cod. She also loves the game of soccer and coached all ages for over 20 years.
